Encouraging literacy and a love of reading in the children of the Fez Medina

The library was started in January 2015 by a group of neighbors living in the Fez Medina. We offer children a place to discover books and develop a love of reading. This is the only children’s library in Fez.

Kids can browse and read books at the library, participate in Story Time where volunteers read aloud to a small group, as well as borrow books to take home to read and share with their families.

With a specific focus on pre-readers and developing readers (up to the age of 14 years old), the library is a welcoming place where children have easy access to books and magazines in Arabic, English and French.

Our tiny space welcomes over 1,200 visits each month. Come join us!

Share the joy of reading!
